I'm sure y'all missed me, my graphics, and my tutorials... lol! So, here is a brand new Kellie Pickler icon tutorial, enjoy! I used this pic: Kellie Pickler (from k-pickler's website, http://www.k-pickler.com) to make this icon:

Program used: Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0
Translatable: Yes
Level of difficulty: Easy (all it is is color layers, and 1 hue/saturation adjustment layer!)

Ready?

1. Take your pic, crop it, and resize it to 100x100.
2. Duplicate your base, sharpen it once if it needs sharpening (if you end up over-sharpening it, you can always add a gaussian blur to smooth things out!), and set it to screen 100% opacity.
3. Make a new layer (Layer: New: Layer). Fill it with this dark blue: 072957. Set the mode to exclusion, and the opacity to 100%.
4. Make another new layer. This time, fill it with this seafoam green: 65d0b6. Set this layer to soft light, opacity 34%.
5. Make a new layer, and fill it with this color: f9c8cc (a blush red, or pinkish red). Set the layer to mulitiply, opacity 54%. 
6. Make a new layer. Fill it with this bright sky blue: 8ce5ff. Set this layer to color burn, 100% opacity.
7. I decided Kellie was looking too dark. So I duplicated my base, brought it to the top, and set the layer to screen 100% opacity.
8. To bring out some color, I added a hue/saturation adjustment layer (Layer: New Adjustment Layer: Hue/Saturation), and set the saturation in the master category to +26. Leave the layer mode to normal, and leave the opacity at 100%.
9.  I wanted to bring out the blonde in Kellie's hair, as well as make her look tan. So I made a new layer, and filled it with this gold color: 79724f. I set the layer to soft light 100% opacity.
10. One more time: I duplicate my base, and bring it to the top, but this time, set it to soft light 50% opacity.
